House starts next week again, so I'll be watching that but, right now, it's just AI, SV, and WC.

Both Smallville and White Collar are making me extremely happy when it comes to the characters. ( spoilers through the most recent episode of Smallville )

My mom doesn't get USA, so I'm not watching White Collar when it airs. Just watched the twelfth episode; loved it. This show is just pretty awesome all-around so far.

So, American Idol had to switch up the girls' and guys' nights.

I have class Wednesdays. This means that I was on the transit on the way home, called my mom at ten and she immediately asked me how to text in her votes. Because she simply had to vote for Casey (who is a hotter version of my dad when he was that age, apparently). There you go. She also liked his voice.

So, I ended up watching the performances just now, which will be happening every Wednesday-related show for the rest of winter quarter.

So, I'm answering questions about my writing over here on Idolmeta. If you've ever wanted to ask me questions about my writing or ask me what my characters were thinking/feeling at particular points or just... anything really, I'm doing that over there.

Going back and reading MJ's Big (Idol) Blog comments on the season and it's really cool and surprising that there was actually a whole surge of people who started calling Kris their favorite around Top 11 week ("To Make You Feel My Love") and thinking that there was a chance that he could win it all, which is two weeks earlier than his first big 'moment' on the show ("Ain't No Sunshine").

There are the occasional people that I want to smack for their homophobia (ex. saying that there "might be an all-male final three... as long as an asterisk is placed next to Adam's name" -- wtf?) but, so far, someone else later in the comments is always there to verbally smack the idiot for me.

ETA: And the dismissals used for both Kris and Adam are pretty much the same now as they were back then -- Adam "screams" and Kris is "boring". Neither of these are arguable one way or the other, because they're entirely opinions based on whether or not the quality of each guy's voice appeals to that particular listener.

I'm under 'Author Auctions' with three separate offers; one for a 4000 word story, one for 3000, and one for 2000. They are for American Idol S8 stories; preferred focus on Kris/Adam, though I can also write gen or Kris/Brad (yeah. I still don't know how that happened).

The charity involved is Donorschoose.org and it's under Adam Lambert's leaderboard. The group involved in the auction is ontd_ai. The charities being focused on are about bringing arts and music to children in the U.S. whose schools cannot fund them. The projects are submitted by teachers and it's just a very beautiful thing.

There are tons of authors, and some artists, too, and I know that some people are offering to write in fandoms other than AI.
