butterfly1. Katie was okay. She's very stage-y, though. Like a kid from a pageant. And Simon is really playing the 'I want to mentor you' card which made Katie's judging feel more like Simon trying to sell the audience on watching the U.S. version of the X-Factor rather than anything else.
2. Siobhan's performance I actually liked better than what she did last week. I really like that she's being herself and off-the-wall and not listening blindly to the jduges (like Katie is doing). Really good job. Completely disagree with Simon. She was definitely not boring. Also, she had such a cute outfit.
3. How is Lacey still here? She's horrible. Bad voice, boring song. Terrible singer. She's yet to give a performance that I like.
4. I love the way Katelyn ended her song. I wish that she hadn't played the keys on this one, though - she looked trapped and I think she wanted to move and she needed to move on this song to give it the right push. Still like her, but this wasn't as good as her last two.
5. Didi's was gorgeous. I love her voice. She sounded so sweet and honest on this song.
6. Paige's performance was sweet and delicate. It was lovely. I like that she reinterprets songs, that she can make the emotions feel fresh and different. And the judges can suck it, especially Simon, because I heard his 'arrangement' of "One" that he did for Adam last season and it was horrible. Bite me, Simon.
7. Crystal is great and a lock for tour.
8. Lilly's song choice just didn't work for me. She was... eh.
The two women that I hope leave this week are Lacey and Katie. Possibly Lilly.
