My entries/icons/tags/comments/etc have been imported from LJ to Dwth, so that's working out nicely.

What I'm personally trying to do is only have people in one place (if they are crossposting). Because my Dwth journal is newer and thus has a smaller list to read, I'm privileging that journal if there's consistent crossposting, in an effort to make both lists look smaller. But if you would prefer for me to read you on LJ instead of Dwth, let me know!

I'm determinedly not reading Doctor Who spoilers at the moment. I want to wring every last bit of anticipation and joy out of my last RTD/DT Who experience and that works best on a no-spoilers basis (as long as I trust the showrunner, which I do with RTD and with Joss Whedon). I've seen... some casting spoilers and inferred others and suspect that I will be satisfied (and probably heartbroken) at the results.

Had occasion to watch some Buffy and Angel and discovered that they still make me cry as much as they ever did (the last Wesley scene always kills me, of course).

I've got tickets for myself, a couple of friends, and my mom to see Star Trek on the 8th. My mom is one of the original TOS fans (the ones that wrote in to save the show from being canceled), so I really, really hope that she likes the new version (I'm pretty sure that I will, because I'm fairly easy-going when it comes to these things).

I'm also planning on watching 17 Again this weekend. Because I like Zac Efron and I'm only slightly not at all ashamed.

So, I'm taking the time to do a couple of things that I've wanted to do in lj, but couldn't because it would take too much time and likely drive me mad. Specifically, I've color-coded my subscribe list. Also, I picked a style that is completely different from my lj. I'm being all experimental. That is so not like me.

I'm still debating about whether or not I want to import my lj into Dwth.

I have not seen the new Bones yet because it was crazy and aired on a Monday (because they want to make sure they have enough House during the sweeps?). But I will probably see it tonight or tomorrow. I haven't seen the new Kings yet because I had a headache on Saturday and then went out to the Oregon Zoo with my dad on Sunday.

I forgot to eat before I left for school. This was a mistake, my stomach informs me.

I think I that I quite like "Lovebug" (by the Jonas Brothers).

1. I'm thinking of calling it DWth instead of DW, so that my Doctor Who stuff is clearly differentiated from Dreamwidth stuff (alternative option: Dwth, since the 'w' isn't capitalized in the original word?).

2. I'm not currently cross-posting. This will probably change once open beta starts.

3. If you are cross-posting, I will probably delete you from my LJ flist and only have you on Dwth.

4. I haven't decided whether or not I want to have all the same icons I had before. I'm thinking of looking at this as an opportunity to weed out the icons that I never really used. I'm also considering that regarding importing my journal as a whole -- some of what I said on LJ was pretty inane and doesn't really need to live in more than one place.

I love being able to easily switch between viewing only communities, only personal journals, or seeing both.

Thanks to the ever-gracious and always wonderful [livejournal.com profile] par_avion, I received an invite code for Dreamwidth, which means that I'm up there as butterfly. Yay! Anyone already on DW who wants to be my friend, feel free to add away!

And now, I will go to bed, though I have an afternoon class tomorrow, so I'll still be getting plenty of sleep.

Yay!
