Stargate SG-1: More Brief Thoughts

I'm kinda impressed that it's been ten years and Sam is still surprised at how far Daniel is willing to go when he's operating under negative in emotions. Tonight's episode (for me) made many emotional callbacks to previous episodes and one of the things that it made me think of was Bloodlines in season one. You know, the one where Daniel slaughters an entire container of baby Gou'uld and Sam is shocked and horrified that he would be willing to do something like that. He was operating under hate back then, while I think that (as he said to Jack) fear is stronger now, but, yes, Daniel is willing to go as far as he needs to in certain cases.
On the plus side, Sam has figured out that Daniel survives a lot. I love that once the team sees that there was a ring transmission, they assume it was Daniel. Because that's just the way the universe works. Very amusing. Loved the last-second beam-up of Teal'c (I was wondering why Kvasir kept working on the beaming tech rather than, you know, getting them out of there, but then it all made sense).
Adria was cool. Effectively creepy, with the golden eye thing going on. Plus, I enjoyed the way they had her played. Loved her conversation with Vala at the end (and I adored Vala in that conversation).
