Subtitle: Oh, my God! I made a vid! My very first vid! Eeeee!

It's in .mpg format and it's just over four minutes long (41.3 MB). The song is one of the new Backstreet Boys songs that... technically isn't out yet. Technically.

Summary:
Pacey sees Joey in the series finale and realises that he's not over her.

Awwwwww!

I just love Joey/Pacey and that's a good song choice. Nice clip choices, and I think you did a good job with when to use fades and when to use hard cuts. Very good job! And so sweet and romantic. Mmm. :-)

Thank you!

I just love Joey/Pacey and that's a good song choice.

The first time that I heard the song, I said, "That's so Pacey." Of course, they've been on my mind recently, but I figured it was as good a sign as any.

Nice clip choices, and I think you did a good job with when to use fades and when to use hard cuts. Very good job! And so sweet and romantic.

Thank you. It was a lot of fun for me to make, so I'm very much thrilled that it was enjoyable to watch.

Very sweet! I never watched much DC, but I know that I if I had I would have been a Pacey/Joey shipper because they're so cute together.

I'd like to mention this in my LJ because a few people on my flist are P/J lovers. Is that okay?

The PJ Effect

Wow, great job for an early effort, you go girl! Be proud!

I too wasn't a hardcore DC fan, more of an occastional viewer who like yourself, came to watch merely for the same three reasons as yourself.

I loved Pacey instantly because I could relate to his insequrities rather than Mr. Leery Heads sickening saint persona. Pacey was so fun and naturely down to earth, that you couldn't help but like him and his flaws were at least open center stage for all to see. Unlike Dawson, he didn't try to make out that he was anything different to what you saw, he was up front about what he was while Dawson hid his bad side behind the sheeps clothing of a nice guy.

It's truely incredible how much hights JJ manged to help take a character who with the rather thankless job of being Dawson's wise cracking sidekick (heehee, I think people would rather dress up as Robin before ever wanting to be the sidekick of Dawson of all characters) could have fell into any number of traps so easily. For me, the crap of seasons five and early six will never distroy the grand memories of season three, the arguably most thrilling time of the shows history. (Although don't get me wrong, of course, KW and co were certainly no Joss Whedon and co) The sidekick growing from loveable loser to a dashing white knight figure with the power to prove the better man than the hero time and again, getting the seemingly unattainable suposebly so called hero's girl, not once but ultimately twice was a high like no other high.

My thoughts on PJ well...simply put, PJ could complment each other where as DJ couldn't because they have too much in common. Hell, poor old Dawson had enough trouble being able to complment people as a friend, nevermind a lover. Also while DJ represented childhood up in the clouds fantasy, PJ represented the down to earth, day to day. Even KW in the final commentary mentioned that part of his reasons for his final decision was because he couldn't picture Dawson and Joey doing the day to day.

In fact I loved Pacey so much, that in some strange way, theres been a somewhat influence in my choice of other favourite characters trough characters like him or BTVS's Xander. A lot of common ground there, I'd love to see those two just having a conversation. As a fellow BXer, I had always saw a weird somewhat connection between PJ and a lot of what we BXers see in our Buffy/Xander. Both pairs of characters apear to share the same things in common with the other respectively, known to some as opossits whilst having things in common that suggest the idea of kindred spirits. PJ is vertualy second only to BX for me.

Might I suggest a double date fan-fic or something,heehee.

Anywhoo well done, stay cool, keep rocking girl.

Wow, thank you so much. It's great to get another comment on my very first vid. Sometimes, in lj, it feels like once a week has passed, there's no hope of getting another comment on a post. It's nice when that's wrong.

Pacey and Joey's relationship does remind me of Buffy and Xander -- banter, the way they could disagree and yet still get each other on a deeper level, the supportiveness. They have a lot in common.

Again, thank you so much for the lovely and long comment!
