Yay! Colby is a triple-agent. I was startlingly relieved, despite my inner certainty that Colby is not a traitor. I only hope that the lies he told in order to expose the double-agents don't permanantly destroy his buddy-slash partnership with David. Because I *heart* me some David/Colby interaction.
In other news -- Larry! Megan! So good to see them. Charlie could have better hair. Don was fantastic. Amita was... there, though mostly in a girlfriend capacity. More math!Amita, I say.
Seriously, my feelings for this episode can only be expressed in a series of exclamations. Also, possibly not the review for people who are currently mourning the loss of Carson or Weir (from the credits).
John! Rodney said John! In a moment of emotional connection! Squee! It's like he's admitting their total boyfriendness! Yay!
Sam! Sam was in the credits! Dude! Sam! I'm so glad to see her! I really hope that this means that Atlantis will improve in the fields of ethics and pragmatism. Also... Sam! In the credits! Yay, Sam!
Keller is so cute! She has chemistry with Rodney and felt believable as a doctor and I already like so much more than Carson (who I was annoyed with after the retrovirus).
Rodney and Zelenka! Brain twins! I love them so much. They don't even need to talk to each other, because they are totally on the same wavelength. Yay!
John and Rodney! With the conversations of Importance and the working together and the fight and... Rodney said he was sorry!
Ronon! I love him. Wanting to pull out his shard... thing! Being all prepared for the heavy task of getting better. Worrying about Elizabeth (John and Rodney also had lovely 'worry about Elizabeth' moments). Walking away from the John/Rodney fights, because he's too smart to get in the middle of those.
I can't believe Claire did that! Well, I can, because I spent the whole time she was preparing to going, "Oh, Claire, please don't." Still! Claire! I love Mrs. Bennet, reminding her husband that there are to be no more secrets. Sadly, we already know that he's keeping at least one new secret from his family (also -- does Lyle still exist?).
Disturbingly, Claire's still being watched by Stalker!Petrelli (until I have confirmation of his genetic origins, that's what I'm calling him), who (of course, as he is stalking her) sees her cut off her toe. She doesn't see him flying, but they may pick that thread up next week and have her see him. I really hope they don't end up in a relationship.
And on the note of my disbelief in this show's ability to portray women... well, we have Peter's plotline, where FakeIrishChick is threatened by a goon and needs to be saved by Peter. Plus, we have the Maya/Alejandro plotline where... Maya is crippled by her own power and needs Alejandro to save herself (though I'm sure this show would have Maya show the same non-levels of agency if she were the healer and Alejandro the plague-carrier). I'm undecided on how I feel about Hiro's plotline, but I know that I'm sad that the swordsmith's daughter didn't appear to get even one effective blow in against the twelve fighters.
Also, we still have no idea if D.L. is alive, as Nikki and Micah are Not Appearing in This Episode (either).
Mohinder continues smart (yay!). Matt is getting smarter (yay!). Molly and Matt were adorable in their brief appearance together. I only hope that, next week, we'll get to see Mohinder cook and the three M's be domestic.
Really enjoyed the episode.
Overall: Less on crack than last year. Yay!
The show appears to be getting back to the basics this year. So, far, I'm enjoying it. Last season has convinced me that the producers of the show have no idea how the real world works, so I'd be thrilled if they just stayed in prison from now on.
Lastly, and more seriously, as anyone from popfandom already knows -- Lou Pearlman is a skeezy asshole who deserves to rot in prison for the rest of his life.

Toe in the living room is kind of crazily awesome though! I really hope the toe storyline is left alone for a while, until The Toe is forgotten entirely by everyone, and then The Toe just randomly pops up with OH HAY WTF THERES A TOE HERE.
And yes! Claire is awesome!
