Why couldn't some of that Tuesday stuff been on Wednesday?

Especially since it was all so good.

Bones

I love this show so much. The way that Bones was missing her Zack and couldn't replace him (and this was such an amusing contrast to House's attitude in the episode immediately following) -- it really hits those vibes of 'created family' that I love (despite really liking Bones' auditionee and wishing he could stick around -- he was cute). The way Booth was jittery and eager to get Bones back into the field (oh, wow, his smile when she volunteered -- DB is such a gorgeous man when he smiles). And Hodgins and Angela! I adore them so much. I loved finding out more about Angela's previous marriage and I love the way Hodgins behaved during the whole thing -- at times surprised, even a little retroactively jealous, but overall with good humor and much love. He and Angela really do love each other for the people they are, not for the people they hope the other person might turn into.

Oh, and there was some widow's son's skull in a windshield.

House

I was worried for no reason, apparently, because I adored this episode. Wilson was absolutely brilliant (I loved how pleased he was with his guitarnapping stunt), House was incredibly stubborn, Cuddy was determined, and it was tons of fun. Also, I don't think House popped a single Vicodin all episode. And the bit at the end cracked me up. I do agree with Cuddy and Wilson that House clearly needs someone to bounce ideas off of, but I also think that having the ducklings just come back would be a tiny bit of a step backward for their emotional development, so I'd like them to come back, but not as House's team.

Also, the plot with the victim was actually quite emotionally effecting, which isn't always the case.

Eureka

Hi, Michael! This was an amusing character to see him play, what with the focus on the Importance of the Past. Plus, Michael's looking hot, which is something of which I approve. Third week of having a Stargate guest on Eureka in a row (Janet, Lam, and now Daniel). He had some chemistry going on with Nathan, too.

In terms of regulars -- Zoe and Jo's respective boyfriends were not offensive this week. *cheers* Plus, Zoe and Jo make really cute friends.

Nathan and Allison are acting like morons by trying to close out Henry and Jack from their plans. I know that Allison had both brains and willpower of her own last year, so where the hell did they go this year? She's been subsumed by Nathan. It pisses me off.

Jack is actually kinda cute with the 'dating' thing. And I enjoyed seeing Beverly again! And her bringing Henry in on the loop.

So, good apart from the stupidity of Nathan and Allison.

Boston Legal

Yay! Show! I really liked the new additions (though I miss Denise -- any word on whether or not she might be coming back?). I enjoyed seeing the transferred senior partner getting used to the craziness that is Crane, Poole, and Schmidt. I loved Clarence standing up for himself. I loved Alan and Denny's friendship, as always. Enjoyable, overall.

I too was worried what House would be like without the ducklings but I have to say that I didn't even really miss them that much :\ It must've been all the awesome House/Cuddy and House/Wilson stuff. I thought it was one of the best House episodes EVER. And that's saying a lot because there are many many awesome House eps. I loved the guitar ransom a lot. Wilson makes me very happy.

It was a terrific episode, yeah! The House/Wilson, House/Cuddy stuff was priceless. If this is going to be the vibe of the new season, I'm really looking forward to it.

Yeah, I don't like where Allison has gone this season on Eureka. I get that she's trying to help/protect Kevin but it's ridiculous how she just blindly follows Nathan when she knows he has other motives. I love how much Zoe's character has developed, though. I think Jordan Hinson has really grown into the role.

Indeed! It's so hard to believe that she doesn't trust Jack, after everything that happened last year. Jack's solid, man. Nathan's squirrely. I've been upset since the dream episode, when Allison asked Nathan to turn off something (in her own home, dealing with her own child) and just... did nothing when he said 'no'. Allison -- he is not the boss of you!

I agree so much. She's blossomed -- her character is deeper and more interesting this season.

The guitar kidnapping was BRILLIANCE. I was laughing so hard at that whole thing. I love House and Wilson so much, and I didn't even miss the ducklings (except for maybe Chase a teeny tiny bit).

Also, yes Eureka. Michael said 'Atlantis' and I was gleeful. There should be more crossover fic for the Stargates and Eureka! And there was definitely chemistry with Nathan. I wouldn't mind seeing more of that! Mmmmmmm.

It really was all kinds of fantastic. Like you, I only had a little bit of missing Chase, but for most of the episode, I was just having fun.

It was utterly delightful. I've seen a couple of crossovers that were Mckay-focused, but it'd be great to see more (that had more of a broader universe focus).
