I have many issues that stem from my mom and the fact that she's a librarian.

When I check books out from the library, I almost always end up organizing the shelves. Because they don't keep the paperbacks organized but they must be.

I'm anal about spelling and grammar. Half of the reason that I rarely feedback is because I'm not sure if the author would appreciate my fixation on minor mistakes.

Part of the reason that I don't write sex is because I feel like I can't truly write about something I've never experienced.

This post was inspired by my mom asking me to proof-read our Christmas letter. Because she knows that I'm an anal bitch.

I thought you should know that I'm making a conscientious(sp?) effort to capitalize my lj entries. Because I luv ya like that. =)

I've been trying extra hard with my its/it's but I'm still not entirely sure I always have it right. I have this weird mental block about it.

Yeah, it's one of those annoying exceptions. I guess what you have to remember is that the contraction trumps the possessive.
