In the grand tradition of people who can't sleep, I'm doing reviews. And because I am currently in love with Christina Aguilera, I'm doing reviews of her videos. She's so cute.
Genie In a Bottle:
Starts off wonderfully. She's a cute, sexy girl. The jeans outfit? With the brown top? That's nice. Very. With the mmm.
Right after, "to release me." Um... wow. That's making love to the camera.
Then: boom! Ugly outfit. The orange pants would be bad enough on their own, but combined with the blue... thing , it makes my eyes hurt. And it does nothing for her body, which was looking pretty good in the aforementioned jeans outfit. Seriously, that is a horrendous costume. Plus, her hair looks better down. I don't understand why such a pretty girl can make herself look so ugly. (also see the Moulin Rouge video for an example of this)
I guess the... story here, is that she wants to have sex, he wants to have sex, but she's not quite ready yet. It's honest and real. And she's not telling anyone to hit her, which is a plus for me.
Come On Over(All I Want Is You):
I seriously adore this song and video. It's fun, flirty, sexy. It's Christina Aguilera, unashamed of her own sexuality and not willing to couch her desires in softer or hidden ways.
But I also love the way that she looks in this video. She's adorable in her little blue camo pants and her little baby-blue bandana. This, not Britney, is the female Justin Timberlake. I would have so *hearted* them as a couple.
Side-laced pants. Gah. And she's all sparkly in white, except for baby-blue nailpolish. And she's wearing one of those bracelet-rings. I love those. And I love the blonde/red hair.
Ooo. The blue plaid is adorable, too. With a lace-up blue top. She's so lacy in this video. How the hell did they manage to make her so unsexy in the Moulin Rouge video? That's talent.
I adore the sweet, uptempo-ness that is this song. "Don't wanna play the game with you, babe." And the direction in this video is wonderful. She's got a great camera personality too.
What A Girl Wants:
Thanks for being patient and waiting until I was ready for sex. That about sums up the message in this song.Cool. And look, she doesn't have to be scared of the guy that she's with. That's nice.
She is so cute. Baby blue top again. Sequined jacket. I disagree with that on principle. Her hair's cute, though. And the Princess bit is hilariously adorable.
*waves hand*
That's all for now. Except that my favorite Christina hair is in the Reflections video. Mmkay, now I'm done.
