I liked this a lot, much more than I was expecting, considering that it is a Daniel-less episode (I make no attempts to hide my affections). It helped that we had a ton of Baal's. He's a really good villain -- he's smart, practical, and willing to compromise when he has to (and only as far as he has to).
I also love that whenever Daniel is not in an episode, we get an explanation for it. That the assumption is always that people will notice and miss Daniel. I like that.
What I don't like is when the people in charge validate Sam's bad decisions (*glares at Landry and Gemini's Jack*)
Sateda
This was a really good episode. I enjoyed learning about Ronon's past and there was no egregious stupidity. Plus, Ronon was really hot, and Rodney made me want to hug him. And we had more emotion and conversation from Sheppard than... like, ever. It was the episode for enlightening conversations.
Though I must admit that John's random leather jacket had me going "huh" for a lot of the episode.
