Phew, I think both the dressing more revealing and the break up with Nick happened together with the release of Irresistable. I remember that lots of people considered it strange that Jess had already broken up with Nick[I think June/July 2001] (aparently slightly before releasing Irresistable), but still thanked him in her liner notes.
The big beginning of the "dressing sexy phase" is considered to be her posing for FHM magazine[November 2000] (a couple of fan pages closed in protest to it).
