When Lance is drunk, he's supple and... not needy, Lance is never needy any more, but... open.
He'll let you do everything, be on top, take control, lick him up and down, all the things that he won't let you do when he's sober. Lance has what Chris likes to call 'fucking massive control issues, the freak'.
But it's nice to let go and give yourself over to Lance. His steady hands soothe you and comfort you, his soft words make you focus on the moment, his lips and tongue and teeth bring you to places you've never known existed before.
When he's sober, he has to be in control. When Lance is in control, you feel protected and safe, like nothing in the world can bring you down. He makes you want to create, he's the inspiration for every love song that you've written and he makes you want to just keep writing until you've found a perfect expression of your feelings for him. Something Like You was closer to your true feelings, but still not close enough. You don't know if you'll ever get close enough.
You would do anything for him. You have done everything that he's ever asked. Chris jokes about you being whipped, but it doesn't really bother you.
You are whipped, in a way. Your life is so entwined with Lance's that you don't think that you could survive being pulled away from him. But you could say almost the same about any of the guys.
And you don't mind because he's just as tangled up in you. He only lets himself show it when he's drunk, but you can always see it in his eyes. He needs you just as much as you need him.
And being in control makes him feel safe.
So, it's easy to give it up to him.
