OTP thoughts

Something that I find fairly interesting is that I don't fall for the same kind of pairings in all of my fandoms.

Buffy/Xander would be closer to Joey/Lance or Justin/Chris than Justin/Lance.

And I can only stand to read Draco/Harry in the HP fandom, which has a completely different feel altogether.

Or it might be Herm/Harry, which I also don't like. Hmm. If Harry=Buffy, then would Xander be Herm or Ron?

Probably Ron. They do give off a similar vibe - the goofy but well-meaning sidekick.

Hmm. So, HP's B/X would be slash and it's B/W would be het. For some reason this amuses me.

Best friends in loooove -- Jim/Blair in The Sentinel, Xander/Buffy in BtVS, Chris/Justin in nslash, Dan/Casey in Sports Night...

and then future arch enemies! Clark/Lex in Smallville and Draco/Harry in HP. and then Jen/Joey in Dawson's Creek, who were always kind of enemy-ish. rivals! and then Eminem with the puppies, which is the same kind of thing.

She and Joey had a thing, but they broke up because Joey's a wimp and Audrey = pretty.

heeee! Sadly, I lack exposure to the Audrey. Will have to take your word for the slashyness.

I was into the fandom during seasons 1, 3 and 4... so Audrey wasn't on the show then. I haven't watched this last season. Show is so painfully bad, and I could not withstand the torment any longer.

Jen/Joey was the first femslash I ever wrote, though, so they're near and dear to my heart. [drunken!joey leaning on her and saying she loves her at the party in season 4! and all, "why do you hate me? why aren't we friends?" and then in season 1! they're all hiss! grrrr! bitch-ay!]

Have you read "Recreational Activities"? Pacey/Joey/Jen. Very cool.

And, Audrey/Jen is the ship that only a select few see. But, well, Busy Philipps is pretty. Michelle Williams is pretty. They hug. It's brill.

Oddly enough, best friends in love and future arch enemies have a similar vibe to me. It's the need? passion? It's about no lines in one case and thin lines in the other. Whereas JuLa has tons of lines.

This is totally off topic, but there was a really cool picture of Mandy Moore on the cover of one of Melbourne's free papers. Apparently, she's in my city at the moment. (And I missed her! Boo :() . I wish I had a scanner, because she looks really pretty. Anyway, I thought of you when I saw it.
