I've never been so in love with a group's sound before. They have a roundness to their sound that makes me giddy. They sound so complete and beautiful. Part of this rests on Lance, who adds that bass sound that makes them unlike most groups that I've heard. Which one of the guys said that without Lance they were just four high-pitched monkeys?
Everyone that they work with has complimented their voices. And they're worked with some interesting groups. When I told my mom that Alabama did a cover of one of their songs, she was utterly shocked. Hee!
They can make their voices do the most amazing things. The way they sound on the Bee Gee's Medley is nothing short of astounding. Of course, whenever they sing a capella they floor me. They have the most amazing control over their voices.
And they have the perfect mix. Chris has such an angelic voice. My brother actually did think that it was a woman at first, which caused me no small amount of giggling. And the way he sounds on The Lion Sleeps Tonight is just spectacular. Then Justin and JC are the leads, but they both have such unique voices. Especially Justin, who I think I could recognize anywhere. Lance fills in the sound and grounds it and Joey makes it *nsync by doing the hardest part, which is everything else. And fuck, can he sing. His range is abso-fucking-lutely amazing. He can almost touch both Chris and Lance.

Date: 2002-06-14 07:34 pm (UTC)I love their voices especially when they sing acappella (er, however you spell it), because their voices just FLOW and and they can SING DAMMIT and yeah, that's a major reason why I like them. That and they are just AMUSINGLY FUNNY little fuckers.
