Okay, why am I writing a post about Joey Potter when I haven't even watched the show in over a year?

Well, I ran across a P/J pic and got all nostalgic. I really liked Pacey and Joey. They were sweet and funny and not completely dysfunctional. And there were times that I really related to Joey.

"Because I’m fifteen years old, and I go through every day thinking that nobody loves me."

Like that moment, way back in whatever season that was.

I stopped watching the show at the start of fourth season 'cause I didn't want to see the inevitable break-up.

Because I'm a sap.

The sappiest sap in Sapdom.

I am so with you. Except I watched the breakup. And I hated the show thereafter.

And they freaking act like P/J never existed, or that they have like - no feelings for each other anymore. And it's such fucking HOOEY.

Phew. So yes. I feel you.

THANK YOU! I watched the show from the beginning but didn't really fall in love with it until Pacey/Joey. Their chemistry was unbelievable...they were the best couple. And then I quickly fell OUT of love with the show when they broke them up so fucking randomly and then pretended their relationship never existed. And watching her and Dawson strain for even a tenth of the natural chemistry and affability that she and Pacey had is painful.

Yes. Thank you. I basically watch the show now for 2 reasons: a> it seems like a waste to get this far and stop watching and b> Audrey makes me laugh.

But I'm sorry. Joey/Dawson (or basically ANYTHING Dawson) is painful, and I've hardly seen any couple have as much chemistry as Joey/Pacey.

Sigh.

That quote is from the first season finale when Pacey took her to see her father. I think that's my favorite Joey moment ever.

You and me both. I am all about the wonderfulness of P/J. Still watching, and I wouldn't be so angry if she and Charlie got together, but I think we're heading towards another Dawson/Joey end of season makeup. Blergh. Kill me now. Or even better, kill Dawon now. Please.
