First time that I've read the short description of a TWoP recap of Buffy and decided not to read the recap.

Still, if he doesn't like The Zeppo that just confirms my feeling that he and I do not share a sense of humor.

Because... Xander. Sex! Melodramatic B/A moment! Zombies! Bombs!

Wish I'd taken your advice, but I was so damn bored. His recap just confirms my theory, though, that people who don't like the episode don't understand that the subplot of the world ending isn't supposed to be taken seriously at all.

I don't like Couch Baron, either. He tries too hard.

Just had two consecutive sentences start with "I don't like". Huh. I like Checkpoint.

And I think that you're right about CB.

I wonder if there are defining charactistics for people who like parodies and those who don't. I'm always up for a good parody, and I'm irreverent in general. That may be part of it. I take Buffy about as seriously as I take anything, but The Zeppo is one of my favorite episodes.

Then again, my favorite parodies are ones that encourage you to laugh with rather than at.
