The thing that hit me about it this tme is that she gave Xander a chance. A horribly small one, yes, but a chance. She tied his hands around something, didn't tie his feet at all, and left him ungagged.

Also, I highly favor the idea that there are two Buffies and what the monster did was set up a link.

I just love them so much.
