Random B/X thoughts...

I could add what happened Lessons into my B/X series canon without changing a word. Nothing in the episode would ring false with the idea that they got together in the summer.

Oh my god, I have to tell you, the second Buffy, with morning coffee in hand, opened her door to on-his-way-to-work!Xander, I honestly thought they were going to kiss. Like, for a moment I was so convinced. And even though they didn't, him coming over there in the morning to be with Buffy and Dawn felt so comfortable and all domestic, it completely felt like they were together. Just, the level of comfort...wow. And it makes sense. Because Xander seems to have grown up and has this level of self-esteem and comfort and happiness with himself that I feel like he's never had before (which is why, I think, Buffy never fell for him before), and Buffy's got this new lease on life...it would be the perfect time.

It really would.

And yeah, I was all, "Gah! So domestic!" And comfortable. Like he comes over all the time. Which I'm sure he does.

He's driving the two of them in next week's preview, I think.
