First off, I fucking love how close Buffy and Xander are. They're just like a married couple, without the smootchies. But they will come in time.

*evil chuckle*

Dawn was much cooler. And I adored that the secret weapon was a cell phone.

The Spike plot is, quite frankly, brilliant. Shades of Dru, Shades of Backfromhell!Angel, Shades of William, but something new and fascinating. How fucking cool was it to see those guys again? Gah! I missed them. All the dead villains.

The plot was the episode was inventive and left some very interesting threads to follow up on. Who made the talisman? Why? Because dude, with the coolness.

Willow and Giles were wonderful together. I was aching for more.

In fact, this episode just flew by. There wasn't a single draggy moment. Whee!

God, I love this show.

Oh I know. Never a dull moment.

And yeah, with the villains! Like all this time you think you hate them. Then all of a sudden they appear and you're just staring rapt at the screen going "Mayor Wilkins! Awww! Oh oh! The Master! Yayy!"

Only Joss could make us do that, too.

(Although I have to say, Warren I felt NO happiness seeing. I really do hate him. Bastard killed my Tara. Grrrr.)

Well, when Warren was there, I went, "Oh, fuck. He's dead. He has to be dead." Then he morphed into Glory and I went, "Oh, fuck, somehow Glory has taken his body to use as a host. Warren and Glory."

So it was a big relief when she morphed.

Yes, that's *exactly* what I thought too. It really freaked me out but then it turned SO cool after Glory morphed and the pattern became clear. Yeah, SO glad that's not the deal. At least, I hope not. Who knows with Joss.
