Buffy reconfirmed our love when she rushed to Xander's apartment. Not that I wasn't sure that she would. But. It's still nice to see.

God, I adore body-burying, whistling Spike. Whoo! I love ME. Joss rules.

*happy sigh*

Whee! London! Another girl! Yay! And it looks like they are pre-Slayers.

Go Dawn! With the confessing! All in all, very satisfying exchanges about the BB. And I love Xander. So, so much.

*giggles* I love Anya.

Even after seeing him kill the girls, I almost believed him.

Wow. He really didn't remember. Poor guy.

I really loved Xander in this episode! Oh, Xander! Back to being suspicous but not irrationally suspicous. Rational and not immediately, "okay, stake him." He was a team player and talked the issue over with Buffy and was supporto-man.

Though of course Xander was right that Spike couldn't just dash off to aquit himself, I can obviously see why Spike would be panicked and needing answers enough to punch Xander out. Kind of like Buffy tying up Xander and Oz in the demon!roommate fiasco episode of Season 4. Poooor Xander! Always getting abused and cosmically held out of the loop. *pets Xander*

Yes. Xander was marvelously grown-up in this episode.

Someone at TWoP mentioned something that I agree with: They really seem to be playing up the 'Xander taken for granted' theme. Which makes me hopeful that this will lead to something. Because, yeah, that's happened before, but at the same time, they have him being the Voice of Reason, as well as instrumental in stopping the Bad in several episodes. Plus, he's been using his construction in-ness to help Buffy. He's just being both way helpful and way brushed off (by the characters, as opposed to the show) and it makes me hopeful.
