Stayed up all night reading Night Watch. Young!Vetinari and Young!Vimes, as well as Older!Vimes. Fun times. Vetinari is just a fascinating guy and Vimes is one of the best fake people ever.

I think I want Vetinari/Vimes.

And I may be just a 'lil bit tired.

See, I like Vimes and Sybil. I really do. And yet. I still want some quality Vetinari/Vimes.

There's this... respect. I really think that Vetinari respects Vimes, you know. It's like... something.

Hmm. I'm thinking of going through all the Disc books I have and looking at the V/V scenes.

Dude, no, it's cute. And I like Vimes and Sybil. I just like Vetinari a touch more than I like Sybil.

I like them both equally, although I can't decide whether I like Guards! Guards! Sybil or the new Sybil better. (There's a marked difference, I think -- for one thing, new Sybil swears less often.) I like Vimes/Sybil a smidgen more than I like V/V because I like the idea of Vetinari as this sinister detached figure in the shadows, all alone with his dog. But V/V slash would still be way cool.

That's a good point about Sybil. Now I want to reread G!G! to check on that.

And I haven't (sadly) really read any Discworld fic that hits the same level of the actual books. So my V/V slash vision is mostly still just in my head.
