It won't! download! This is the second or third time I've tried to download one of your vids from ysi and had it just not work. Ysi usually works for me, so I don't know why it's discriminating against you.

I finally got this to download and it's beautiful! Heartbreaking and beautiful. Doesn't hurt that it's to one of my favorite Sarah McLachlan songs.

This took all those moments of exquisite pain that made me love Daniel from the beginning and distilled them. I especially love the use of clips from "Hathor" and "Need." It's clear to see in this Daniel's love for his wife and the emotional journey he goes on in his first three years at the SGC.

Now if you don't mind, I'm going to watch it again.

Thank you so much -- those are all the things that made me fall for Daniel, too. He's just so Daniel, goes through so much, until he feels so empty, but then whenever the situation calls for it, he gives more, because it's the right thing to do, because he cares.

While watching the latest episode of SG-1, there was a scene where Mitchell calls to Daniel for back-up, and Daniel steps out into the hallway of the haktar, machine gun blazing, all cool and military.

I was reminded strongly of the first time Daniel shot a machine gun on a Goa'uld ship, in "Serpent's Grasp." He did a piss-poor job and got shot in the chest because he wasn't taking cover properly.

Such a long, long way from one to the other.

Wow! That was... beautiful, powerful, heartbreaking! That's one hell of an intense vid! I love pretty much everything about it: the choice of the song first, which gives a dreamy quality to the vid, the pace you picked and the scenes... the way they flow and just - that was great!

I've always really loved the Sha're arc and, of course, it just informed so much of Daniel. And Sarah's voice is so haunting and beautiful, especially in this song.

God that was heartbreaking. I need to add that song to my Daniel song list. It's so fitting. Beautiful vid. I love the images you chose and you really expressed his plight so vividly. Poor Daniel. He can NEVER catch a break. :(

Yeah, Daniel gets a lot of rough breaks, a whole lot of tragedy. I've always loved the song and the more I listened to it, the more it reminded me of him, specifically of those first three years.
