See, I'm good with the Wood/Spike tension. That works for me. As long as they keep Spike away from Buffy, I like him. But both of them get boring together.

Ouch. His mum is a meaner demon than him.

Good for Giles for laying this on Buffy. I suspect she'll through in the end, but I love hearing someone reasonable.

I had much much much great love for this episode, although I am kind of ouchy about the change in the Buffy/Giles dynamic due to his interference.

I was also sad for the few minutes I thought Spike had actually killed Wood, and I'm glad he didn't. I'm also pretty happy about the threats.

And OH! Demon!Mom was just just EVIL! Strong dislike for her, and I'm so glad Spike knows now that his real Mom loved him.

God, it's gotta be hard to be the son of a slayer, even if she doesn't die.

And I've always been suspicious of Wood having it in for Spike, because the First wanted him to go after Spike. Remember her showing up as Wood's Mom? Spike is going to play hella part; the question is, What does the First want him to do? (So we can want him to do something else)

Also much love for the "Any apocalpse I avert without dying, that's an easy one." line.

I do kinda want Spike to be the famed Vampire With A Soul who gets to be human, but that's only so that I can laugh and laugh and laugh at Angel. I dislike Angel more than I dislike Spike. Four years of more, since I was fine with Spike 'til they wanted to put him with my girl Buffy.

I totally agree. That's what they did last year, too. Practically no Xander 'til the end. Which was definitely not enough.

I mean, Nicky B. is a really good, very charming actor. He was sweet and funny in Psycho Beach Party, which I was with my mom in the only theater that it ever came out it. Funny movie. And he's absolute brilliance on the show when they let him have lines. Sometimes even when they don't.

*mutters about stupid Spike obsessions*

I mean, if that's all I'm going to get, I'll enjoy the show anyway, but damn, I don't get why they don't use him more. Oh, right, he isn't a vampire and he isn't a new toy. My bad.
