Rambling...

So, I'm a huge canon whore. All about the canon. I mean, I hate Angel and the whole Buffy/Angel thing and I wrote a Buffy thought piece that made somebody tell me that it was always great to read about the forever love of B/A.

Whenever I write fic, it is always with canon in mind. That's probably why only one of my B/X pieces has actual 'in love' elements on both sides. I can easily write about Xander being in love with Buffy. With Buffy, though, I have to edge her into it. She has rotten taste in men on the series.

This is probably why I adore the ending of due South. There's a canon slashy ending. They dog-sled into the sunset together. It's so sweet. And Fraser and Ray just... fit. They're a duet. And canon just keeps reinforcing that, until we reach the end, and the end is them, together.

The downside of being devoted to canon is that I feel like I can't write anything unless I've seen every episode of a show. Farscape is a cool show, but I couldn't dream of writing a thing for it, because I've only seen six eps.

Wasn't it the best ending? I didn't know what slash meant than but it made my little heart very happy.
