Quote on the icon is by Robert Louis Stevenson.
I wrote a long post and then *poof* it went away. So, this is going to be much shorter and probably much less eloquent than the original.
This episode made me very happy, because it summed up everything that Buffy is about: not letting the world or your own fears hold you down.
Buffy finally figured something out that's been in the making since the beginning of the season, the series. If it's all about power: share that power. She shared her strength with Willow in Same Time, Same Place and now she's expanded that.
For me, Buffy was always, ultimately, about the journey. About what you take with you through life; the really important accessories, like faith, hope, love, and good friends.
It's about learning to trust yourself and your instincts.
About realizing that you don't have to do it alone.
About personal and global empowerment.
And in the end, about redefining normal.
