I just think it would have been a little bit nice to *see* a hint of this coming. I'd be a hell of a lot more likely to believe it than I am right now. I feel like I'm grasping at straws.

Oh, yeah, totally agree. Just because Helen being evil (or... severely misguided) makes her more interesting to me, doesn't mean that I don't think the writers dropped the ball. They dropped the ball so hard it shattered.

Yeah, I think it was Helen. She was looking all ambiguously evil in the plane and I knew that she was up to no good with that champagne toast. Evil. Girl. But, I believe that Lionel is The puppetmaster behind this crazy scenario.
