I saw both Down with Love and The Matrix: Reloaded today.

Absolutely adored DWL. Hilarious and sexy. Ewan was just marvelous.

In fact, I enjoyed it a lot more than Matrix, which felt drawn-out, like they forced one movie into two. I certainly hope that Revolutions doesn't feel that way.

Down with Love was enjoyable from beginning to end: when we saw a nifty duet between Ewan and Renee. I loved that it was a two-way trick, that Barbara really did seem like Catcher's match, though her red hair at the end reminded me of Moulin Rouge and the searing heat between Ewan and Nicole in that film.

Ewan's always great, though, because he just throws himself into every role.

I have yet to see Down With Love (but I am hoping to see it in the nearnear future), but I saw the Matrix Reloaded and I think the only reason why it's a little drawn out is that Revolutions will conclude the story and you got to have some kind of in between.

Isn't that kind of how most stories are? The beginning is interesting, the middle is kind of eh, and the end is what you're really itching for?

Probably, but I dislike the waiting. And they had several scenes that just felt too long.

DWL is just marvelous. Marvelous.
