I had an interesting moment of guest service at work today.

First, I forgot to give the guy his change. Then, when he pointed that out, I said, "Damn," and immediately covered my mouth in shock (luckily, none of the other employees saw this). So, I went and got the key from Cute Manager and got out the money.

Next order? I could barely take it because I was laughing so hard from what I'd just done. Mildly horrified laughter, but sincere all the same.

I can not believe that I swore in front of a customer. That's, like, Not. Good. I'm so lucky that CM didn't see.

But damn the reactions, mine and the various guests', were hilarious. They saw how horrified I was and then how I just could not pull myself together because I was laughing so hard and they were great (some of them laughed too).

Still. Bad thing. Should not repeat, ever.

When I worked at Burger King for a month, you wouldn't believe how many times I've accidentally swore in front of people. I still hate going that Burger King because the people there suck.
