In Hush, I can totally see Nicky's cross tattoo under the make-up. Mmm... Xander!arms.

Also, Buffy looks so pretty in the shot after she's stopped screaming (at the end, killing the Gentlemen).

Every inch.

I love dvds. Such good picture quality.

*frowns*

Now I feel the need for a solo Buffy icon again.

There are about four minutes of Hush that I will continue to think are the best moments of television until the day that I die.

It's from the time that Tara is fleeing the Gentlemen, and she's pounding on the dormitory doors, Willow peeks out, Tara runs head-long into her, they fall, camera pans in on their terror, they flee, we cut to the fight between Riley and the Gentlemen inside and Buffy and the Gentlemen outside, and we build and we build and we build until, wham! Buffy and Riley are facing off against each other, weapons drawn, staring in shock.

Pure perfection, and the moments when the silence really and truly works, because the music sets the tone beautifully, and both AB's and AH's terror comes across the more because there is no screaming, no, "Oh, my gods!". And that scene between Buffy and Riley literally sizzled. Man, I remember watching that and thinking that they were going to be the hottest couple *ever*! ;-)

Hush is just brilliant. The scariest episode of Buffy for me, but it also has some beautiful moments. Like the above. That Riley/Buffy stand-off was kickass.
