butterfly: (Naked Angel)

That was just so much fun. So much fun that the audience burst into applause at the ending.

Such a treat. And the three main characters were all throughly enjoyable. I'd been afraid I wouldn't like Elizabeth and I just adored her. Also, Jack/Will/Elizabeth would be fun. I so expected Jack to say, "We wouldn't have worked out," to Will like he did to Elizabeth. Hell, most of the theater was expecting it, judging by the sudden hush. Though, it was a nice hat.

Fun moment:
There were these two girls behind me who'd come in together and were enjoying the movie. When Jack gets stabbed, the response from them?
Girl 1: "They killed my boyfriend."
Girl 2: "They killed the cute gay guy."
At exactly the same time.

The plot was interesting and made sense. Will Turner was a great character. Jack was a terrific drunken bisexual pirate.

Such a fun movie.

What were you dreading exactly?

And thanks. It's my one wordless icon because, well, when you have Naked Angel, what can you say?

I was dreading that it would waste Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom - the previews didn't look encouraging.

Naked Angel - yes, it needs nothing to distract from the *nekkid!*. Ahem.

Johnny Depp owns every second that he's in. And I really enjoyed Orlando's character.

Yes, the sheer effect of Naked Angel would be diminished by words!

So very pretty. Of course, you need all that pretty to combat the ick of the dead pirates (they did a great job on those).

YAY!!!!!!!

Never mind me, I'm just basking in the love that other people are feeling for the movie, because I'm so overflowing with it that I'll be dreaming a Jack/Will/Elizabeth sandwich tonight, baby.

WHEE!!!!!!!!!

Sorry.

Just... bouncing.

Were the world more fair, he would have. :)

And he so almost did. That moment of hesitation before he said, "Nice hat." was brilliant. I love Johnny Depp.

Hee. When Jack got stabbed, I thought, "No! But he's too pretty to die."
