Six Feet Under - shallow thoughts on The Will and The Foot

Federico is a bundle of absolute cute. His wife is, too.

In three episodes, I now completely and absolutely adore David/Keith. They are so great. I want them to make it.

Brenda continues to look like a pretty man in drag - in these two episodes, she reminds me of Hedwig. Very much the pretty boy in make-up look.

I'm still not invested in Brenda/Nate. And she had some really ugly pants on in The Foot.

Claire is cool.

I like the Fishers more each episode.

It's weird to see Eric Balfour, since he's only Jesse in my head.

I may eventually decide that I like this series enough to buy it on dvd as opposed to renting. I do like it quite a bit.

I might like her if she were less of a mystery. We have to learn something about her at some point, right?

And I have, yeah. He doesn't really seem to like the show at this point, but I've read that he starts liking it after the fifth episode.

The fifth episode re-aired on TV here last night. It ROCKS.
And yes, we learn more about Brenda - I started watching halfway through the first season, and only caught up on the early episodes very recently when I downloaded them, so I don't really have the experience of seeing it all start. I was very impressed with the pilot when I first saw it, though.
By the way, how can you possibly think Brenda's unattractive? I find it hard to conceive of a man turning Brenda down. In fact, I could only conceive of it if he wanted to, but had moral reasons like fidelity to keep him away. A still of her probably wouldn't show her as beautiful, but her body language, her flair, on top of her excellent features and figure... I think she's one of the most attractive women I've ever seen.

She's very much annoying in how mysterious she is. It's like, damn, how bad can your secrets be, chick?

Hmm. It's not exactly that she's afraid of people finding out her Secrets; it's that she has a fear of commitment and depth, and doesn't want to get into psychobabble about herself. Soon she'll engineer an amusing meeting between Nate and her parents, if it makes you like her any better, so less with the hiding there.
