You know, I used to hate shaving my legs. I was always cutting myself. It was a horrible, bloody mess. Then, I bought a guy's razor. And fuck, but it works so much better. And now I can enjoy the silky feel of shaved legs without also feeling the icky feeling of bleeding legs.

Herein ends today's ad for men's razors.

I know exactly what you mean, it's because the mens razors are sharper than the girls.

Hmm. I wonder what it all means. I mean, who thought up the idea in the first place?

I have no idea, I know they have to be sharper because mens hair grows back super thick, that makes you wonder if they work as good on them as they do on us. I wonder why they don't just make the same for all of us.

Though I still don't like doing it so much, I'm still just going to say...

Word.

I've been buying men's razors for years. The only drawback is the little strip goes off so much quicker because you're using it over a larger service than your face. :-)

service = surface.

Shame on me :-)

Exactly. There's a whole quality issue. And if I think about it too long, I'll get pissed at the person who invented "women's razors" in the first place.

Personally, I like the disposable single-bladed ones that I can pick up 10/$1 at the Dollar Tree.

Disposable single-blades also cut up my legs. And so do the special women's types with the weird handles. So, for me, the men's type works much better.

I really like the Venus razor, mainly because it's a triple-bladed razor (and except for the handle, the same razor as the men's version), but I'm careful to use shaving gel and not soap so I keep a closer track on how firmly and where I'm shaving. If you have really thick hair, it's always best (no matter how sharp the blade is) to shave after showering/bathing. If you are prone to cutting your legs accidentally, the amount of pressure you're exerting to shave matters as well - too much pressure and trying to shave too quickly will result in bleeding. Just my two cents....

Thanks. I actually kinda like the simplicity of the guy's handle, though.

And the worst part?

"Women's" razors cost more than men's.

It's a money-making gimmick. Who needs a pink razor anyway?

So true. It's all about the benjamins.

And I'd like to thank you for giving me the chance to type that. I've been wanting to.
