That was so beautiful. I'd hoped... it was an Old One, before good and evil mattered, I think. Illyria was never evil, only extremely single-minded.

I don't know what Illyria will choose to do in the future, but that it's willing to try... I like Illyria, very much.

I adored this episode. To the extent that I am actually glowing with sheer happiness. My face is flushed and I am beyond pleased, because this was so much more, so much better, so much more complicated.

Wesley was... amazing. He's so extreme when it comes to Fred, always has been.

But my favorite part is Illyria. I feel a bit like Knox - I'm in awe. And AA did a wonderful job portraying something just learning what humanity means, from the perspective of something older. And wow, she looks so hot like that.

One of my favorite bits was Illyria's moment of contempt over man being a race of 'deceivers'. Illyria was very straight-forward about everything - after all, they didn't need to bother learning how to lie, being complete powerhouses.

I loved this episode so much. I don't know how I'll stand waiting.

I am right there with you. I LOVE Illyria. I love where they're going with her too -- I expected a total retread of the Jasmine arc so I am v v v pleased and surprised. I don't think she's evil, either. Powerful, but not evil. It's going to be interesting to see how that power gets channeled now that she's lost all the external trappings of it....

Oh I can't wait either. I wish I had that time dilation effect myself. Man oh man.

Illyria iconses, YES. I want one with the two swords. Because that was just one of the best fights ever.

I'm so excited about this character, I don't see how I'm going to be able to wait....
