I've recently decided that I'm insane.

Anyway, the Farscape mini starts on the 17th of October, yes? I'm going to try to watch the rest of the series before that. I only have, um, about three seasons to watch.

First, I need to watch Deep Space Nine. Luckily, I can skip past anything not related to O'Brien and Bashir. Unless I get distracted by the shinyness of Sisko's 'skeptic to believer' arc, Jake's growth to manhood, or Garak's scales.

Then, I'm going to rewatch the Buffy/Xander scenes in Buffy.

And then I'll watch all of Firefly (that one's short, at least. *weeps*) and make sure to pay attention to Mal and Inara (Their love is so based on cliche and yet full of unexpected depth! Just like the characters! And the show! And all of Joss' shows! Their love is so a metaphor for Joss' approach to life!).

Then, I'll try to watch Farscape. Chiana's hot. A lot (incidentally, I've seen clips of CB in the Nebari make-up (edit: Apparently Unrealized Possibilities or Prayer, don't know which) and it didn't do anything for me. But I do not find Claudia as wow bang hot as most seem to.).

Again, I'd like to note my total insanity.

On the plus side, I'll be having fun as I essay myself to death.

(I love, like, every couple in existence right now, though. Yes, including Buffy and Riley (his love was so doomed!). I even love John and Aeryn (their love is so fucked up! And hot when they have guns! Yay for John/Aeryn/guns!).)

Name a couple and I can tell you why their love is so cool! Because they all are! Even Jack and Sam (their love is so against regulations and fucked up! Yay!).

I may be a little tired at this point in time. I may have also had a touch too much sugar at the Fair.

CB in Nebari make-up (in fact as Chiana) is both in Unrealized Reality and Prayer, in season 4. It took me a while to recognise her because she does the body language thing and the voice extremely well. She's not sexy the way GE is as Chiana, no, but she's devastingly effective in what the scene in question in Prayer requires her to be. I won't spoil you for that one if you aren't already, save to say that if you want John at his most screwed-up and the show at its darkest? That would be his plotline in this episode.

(Oh yeah, and that's also the episode in which we get the barely disguised subtext between him and Scorpius by virtue of mutual blood drinking from thumbs. I kid you not.)

It's a good show. Dark and utterly fucked up, but good.
