It's so weird that you mentioned that. I was just reading a chat transcript with Ben Browder and he said the hardest part of that episode was changing the accent from when he was just John as PK to Bug John as PK, because the bug was better at it.
Now that is the mark of a truly excellent actor. That he thinks about these things and makes them happen and is so good and these shifts (felt the same type of squee when Daniel makes a 'pushing up glasses' move in Full Circle, when he's not wearing glasses. It impressed me partly because Michael Shanks does not actually wear glasses, it's just for the character, so that he thought to or just felt the urge to throw in that touch was just brilliant).
I agree Browder's awesome -- and the awesomeness just increases when I realize he's playing 1) Our Crichton, 2) Our Crichton Playing PK Captain (LOVE the accent), 3) Virus Playing Our Crichton, and 4) Virus Playing Our Crichton Playing PK Captain. And you can tell them all apart quite easily.
