Family and fandom stuff...

butterflySo, my brother started at Intel after he got out of college last year. This Christmas, he's going to Taiwan for a project. Hmm. He seems happy with his job, which is a good thing (I would be miserable in that kind of job, but then again, I'm mildly miserable in my current job, which pays a lot less. Still, I'm glad that Kris was the one to follow that career path. I would feel too hemmed in. I'm working two part-time jobs at the moment and I have weekends off. My life does not suck).
Bought MST3000 vol. 2. For a Christmas present, though I am watching it first (reading/watching presents before we give them is an old family tradition -- one of my birthday presents was a book my mom had finished reading). I love MST3000. It's classic.
Going over to my mom's on Sunday, and we're going to watch Stargate and then go Christmas shopping. Much fun.
But until then, I'm planning on working on three things -- my website, my aunt's website (I made the rash promise that it would be up by next week and it will be, damnit), and my AU!Stargate story. That's all I have planned for tomorrow. Hopefully, I'll get a lot done.
