Question:

Would anyone here like to have me use the amazon.com "share the love" discount program for them? I do have some of your email addresses. And it's amazon, which means it's on the up and up.

Basic gist of share the love: You email people through it when you buy something. Said people get 10% off of what you just emailed them about.

I mentioned this because I'm about to order The Order of the Phoenix, which some of y'all may not have ordered yet.

Mocking myself:

I just noticed something funny.



I glanced at the icon, and said to myself, "Dude, someone must have dropped something. That's what they're looking for. Maybe Spike dropped his smokes."

Thinking and writing.

Half of my current icons were made by People Not Me. This is practically a record, as I tend to make my own.

I've been thinking about doing the icon meme. But really, they're all self-evident.

I also thought about commenting on the French Fry thing. Only I can't even think about it without giggling.

So then, I thought I could try writing some more drabbles to get into characters' heads.

rambling Spike/basement thoughts

Tonight's Buffy rerun is Him, an episode where Buffy puts Spike in a closet.

Spike also spends a lot of time this season in a basement. First the school's, then Buffy's.

When we meet him this season, it's in the basement. Spike's part of the school's dirty secret.

Buffy recovers him from the basement only to stick him in Xander's closet. He's still a dirty secret.

Finally, she moves him into her house, after he attacks her in a dead woman's basement.

She first has him in her room. After he breaks her trust by feeding on Andrew, he's once again in the basement, but this time, he's in chains.

He chooses to wear the chains in The Killer in Me.

Now he's chainless and chipless, but still in the basement.

However, now Xander and Anya have had sex in the basement. Their relationship started in Xander's basement and now it seems to be ending in Buffy's. Buffy's basement is also where Xander started his relationship with Cordy. Buffy tried to let her friends die in that basement and it's where she pulled out of her tailspin.
