I did watch Battlestar Galactica and I liked it quite a bit, but I haven't yet connected fully. Actually, and this may be because of Callum Keith Rennie, I think I want the Cylons to 'win'. Hmm. I've never rooted for the villains before, not in a tv show.
Stargate Atlantis 1x16 -- The Brotherhood
Once again, McKay and Sheppard's relationship is really slashy. Yeah, you can say that Sheppard doesn't seem pleased with Elina's attraction to McKay because... um. Maybe he's interested in her himself, though we never see a hint of it. Maybe it's because he's pissed that after being horrible to him about Chaya, McKay... doesn't have a clue what to do with a woman who likes him.
McKay continued to be a very impressive human being throughout this episode. He's grown so much, while keeping the core of his personality. He's still arrogant and irritating, but in an endearing way.
I'm liking the direction that they're going with Teyla and Weir now. Ever since we started back up from the break, I've found both of them more likable by the episode.
Stargate SG-1 8x16 -- Reckoning, Part 1
Daniel is just so very smart. He really is. I loved him in this episode -- trying to be the voice of reason in the beginning, then in his conversation with NotOma. I loved that you could see his moment of realization about NotOma's true identity. And I agree with Daniel -- yeah, it means something, and not 'whatever you want it to mean'. I love his relationship with Oma, actually. As he says in Absolute Power, "One day, I'll decide if she's worth listening to."
Sadly, both Teal'c and Sam's storylines pretty much bored me. I'm sure that things happened, plot things, but if they matter, they'll be mentioned later. Hopefully, by Jack, who'll get it put into short and informative sentences. He's good with that.
Which brings me to the other person that I adored in this episode: Jack. Oh, tough Jack, snarking at Ba'al and not letting any of his soft inner bits show. Jack, who believes in his teammates and that Teal'c deserves his chance to restart the Jaffa Rebellion.
I was a bit disappointed in Jacob. That he really believed that Jack was going to give up on Teal'c. Forget his own agenda, he really should know Jack better than that.
I hate actually coming out and saying things like this, but the level of reaction to Daniel's disappearance didn't bother me. As Jack says in Icon, Daniel's resourceful, and Jack trusts in his team. Daniel has come out of worse before, come out of certain death. They can't do anything right now and concentrating on what happened to Daniel will only distract them from what they can do. Jack was right to cut off Sam's leap into feeling guilty. You have to do what you can and wait to worry.

I love that one, because all of the rest of her sayings, I can figure out. That one teases at the edge of my mind. Like Daniel, I do know that it means something, but I can't quite work out what it is.

Not even if his spine glowed red.
