butterfly | Vidding: Progress

So, a few days ago I mentioned this Xander and Willow friendship vid that I was making...

In this particular instance, the past tense is significant. I am no longer making the vid in question. Now, there are two reasons why. Reason the first is that I was not enough in love with the project. Still, I would have liked the project well enough to continue, were it not for reason two.

I've found my Buffy/Xander song.

If you've known me for a great length of time, then you probably know that B/X is my first and best beloved OTP. I was 'shipping them before I'd ever heard of LJ. Once I got into vidding, I knew that I had to vid them, but I could never find the right song.

I'm not going to mention which song it is, because I'm afraid that I'm the only person who gasped and said, "Oh, that is so about Xander and Buffy's relationship through time!" when she heard it and I want to wait until I have visual, finished proof of the song being perfect for them before sharing this thought with other people.

In only a couple of days, I'm already further along in this vid than I was the other, because I have such an intense passion for the subject.

I love them. The fights, the hugs, the jealousy and anger, the love and the trust. They're my always.

And I'm vidding them.
