I am not, generally speaking, an OT3 person.
For this show, however, I'm completely OT3 for the Johnny/Sarah/Walt. I want them to move in with Johnny so that he isn't living alone, and I want JJ to have two daddies, and I want Johnny to get good use out of that king-sized bed. Most potential threesomes don't work for me, because there's an unequal side to the triangle. TDZ has spent a lot of quality time building up the Johnny/Walt side of things, so it doesn't feel uneven to me.
I really like Johnny and want him to be as happy as possible. I really like Walt and I really like Sarah. I want them all to be happy. And I got all warm and gooey inside when Sarah declared that they (Sarah, JJ, and Walt) were Johnny's family. And she's still the person that he (literally) trusts with his life at the end of the season.
Of course, it doesn't help that his 'love interest' of the season blinded him with hyponosis so that she could go try to kill a man. Seriously, it's not a good idea to fuck with the hero's supernatural ability to perceive things. Johnny gets visions for a reason (we, the audience, know that it was Stillson getting sworn in that woke him up in the first place). It was forgiveable when Tara did something similar over on Buffy because her reasoning was completely different and she had massive amounts of remorse. And even then, it was a dumb thing for her to do. Doubly dumb for Rebecca, not to mention a violation of the thing that seemed to make her relationship with John at all special.
In other news, I've read Knife of Dreams, the most recent Wheel of Time book. Really enjoyed it, and also noticed that it was really very lesbian (Anyone else notice that? Pillow-friends all over the place.).
Got the Revenge of the Sith dvd today, which is shiny.
This weekend, I'm attending OryCon, which is Portland's big annual sci-fi convention.
And... I think that's about it.

Date: 2005-11-04 09:25 pm (UTC)I really enjoy The Dead Zone whenever I manage to catch it, which is rare & intermittent. But Speranza writes excellent fic that I fill the holes with. :) Thank god for Netflix - my queue is weighted down with a few seasons of DZ for me to finally have a big catch-up marathon on.
