butterflyAhhh! That gave me so many feelings.
Um, wow. You know, Charming and Rumple have quite a lot of chemistry. I mean, I knew I enjoyed their scenes in S1 but that part in the episode where Charming does that little smirky look he gave when Rumple said, "oh, you mean magic". Dude. Chemistry.
I also love Charming's speech and his desperation to find his wife and daughter but then him realizing that he has an obligation and, basically, his everything. Josh Dallas owned this episode. He did a great job.
Loved the revelation about Cora/Rumple/Regina. It's always been obvious that there's a lot of history between Rumple and Regina, something that makes that both work together and yet against each other. And it's interesting to think that now, in this episode, they actually have the same motivation as each other at last -- both seek to use magic in order to regain their son. In some ways, Rumplestiltskin made Regina into a version of himself.
Regina doesn't want to be a monster but she doesn't quite know how not to at this point. And Rumple really is the person who has manipulated everyone else, including Regina. I think that Regina has a great likelihood of choosing to go on a better path than Rumple does.
Seeing that Pinocchio wasn't dead was a relief. But where did he go?
And I may have gone, "eeep!" when I heard Cora's voice in the cave. So! The place in FTL where Emma and Snow are is the same place where Rumple sent Cora. That's very interesting.

Date: 2012-10-09 11:15 am (UTC)Oh no. I think that there's more to that story. Regina literally pushed Cora through the Looking Glass into Wonderland, I think, where Cora became the Queen of Hearts. IMO, anyway. How she got from Wonderland back to FTL is a whole other story...
