I actually wasn't able to get all of the episodes the first time (I missed 1x05, which was huge, there was Trevor and there was Harvey walking into a potentially very dangerous situation in order to help Mike; awesome) and I just finished up 1x06, which was a rewatch, I'd seen that one the first time and it was the first (actually, the only one, I think) episode where Rachel annoyed me because of how she went from 0 to "you're a terrible person" in nothing flat when she found out that Mike had taken tests for people. You were thinking of having him take the test for you. Where is this self-righteous indignation coming from, seriously?

Still, you know, if there's only one thing a character has ever done to piss me off, they're doing pretty well (Harvey and Jessica have been frustrating me in S2 with their inability to let go of their hatred of Hardman and actually objectively judge how much of a threat he may or may not be: I mean, they could be right but they weren't even trying to find out, they were just assuming it was true and charging forward). But Rachel's reaction does also show the exact danger that would exist in Mike telling her his other secret. Yes, she's more emotionally invested in Mike now than she was in 1x06, but that might make her feel all the more betrayed by a lie this huge.

ETA: I show my affection for characters by comparing them to other characters that I love.

You know, Mike Ross kinda reminds me of Ray Kowalski from due South. They lie the same way -- all their genuine emotions are right there on their faces, it's just the facts about themselves that they lie about. So, Harvey is Lois Lane (Smallville version) and Mike Ross is Ray Kowalski.

...wow, now I really want a cross-over where Lois and Ray meet. I have no idea how that would happen, but it just seems like it would be a ton of fun.
