Have watched the new Avengers trailer several times.

For some reason - and I have no clue how this happened - I thought The Avengers was coming out in August. Yes, despite the fact that the first trailer has MAY 2012 at the end. But it's at the end! So, when the new trailer flashed MAY 4 fifteen seconds in, I went - "Oh, shit, really?"

Feel free to laugh at me about that.

Things that made me go all incoherent for this trailer; in chronological order:

a. STEVE! Steve is just all the wonderful things in the world.

b. The "Mr. Stark" "Captain" exchange excited me far too much.

c. Thor helps Steve up off the ground!

d. Natasha is awesome.

e. Thor is holding onto the wing of an airplane in flight. Because he can. Because he's freaking Thor.

f. RDJ/Tony really does have very pretty eyelashes.

g. Fury saying, "I still believe in heroes." Which makes me all shiver-happy and then the shot of the six Avengers! All in a circle, guarding each other's backs as they get ready to fight.

h. Holy shit, Natasha is bitty. Put that under "things you don't notice when she's playing opposite RDJ".

i. Heh, Tony and Loki. I wanna yell at Tony, "Be careful! He's gonna throw you out a window!"

So, basically, I liked it.

I AM INCOHERENT WITH EXCITEMENT.

I think that even though hulk movies seem to go down like lead balloons we're all going to be 'Aw HULK!'!

Also I have read so much fic based off this movie that hasn't come out yet that i feel that the movie itself is based off the fic, and not the other way around.
