Vampire Diaries: terms of acceptability
Oct. 13th, 2011 05:11 amSo, from what Elena said in "Disturbing Behavior", it apparently would be fine for Damon to be killing lots of people, as long as he does it far enough away from her ("You can't do this anymore, Damon. Not in this town; not around me."). This also tracks with her studied indifference to Stefan's trail of bodies - he's not killing in Mystic Falls so, you know, screw the people of Chicago, various towns and forests of Tennessee, etc.
So, how far away, exactly, would Damon's violence need to be taking place in order to be acceptable to Elena? Is the next town over far away enough? Is it just enough for him to do it while Elena and her friends aren't looking (like Stefan's in-town murder of Andie)?
These are the things I think about when I wake up really early in the morning.
