I haven't been watching the show, but I saw this and, awww, so cute.

Things that I 'know' about Doctor Who for these past two seasons (note: these things may or may not be true as I have not seen any episodes):
a) The Van Gogh episode was apparently really good. And the one by Neil Gaiman was also fantastic, reports say.
b) River is the daughter of the current two companions and inherited regeneration because she was conceived in the TARDIS. I literally cannot think of a more hilarious back-story for any person in the universe. Apparently, she sadly lost the ability to regenerate in the most recent episode.
c) Rory dies a lot.
d) The TARDIS turned human one time (possessed a human?) and made out with the Doctor.
e) There were vampire alien fish in one episode.
f) Rose is the favorite companion of both the lady who plays Amy and the guy who plays Eleven.
g) Rory dies frequently.
h) Moffat continues to write as if he were, in fact, Moffat. This delights some and does the opposite for others.
i) Sherlock in Sherlock is a lot like Eleven.
j) Can't really turn around without Rory going and dying on people. He's like the anti-Jack; always dying.
k) They don't kill Hitler in the episode called "Let's Kill Hitler". Though that is just a guess based on way that Hitler seems to be the ultimate fixed point of the 20th century. See: Hitler's Time-Travel Exemption Act.
l) Moffat's finales are less angsty than RTD's.
and, in conclusion,
m) Rory probably died again while you were reading this list.

Eleven: No no no no no no! Give me someone I like!
[It changes to Rose.]
Eleven: Oh, thanks. Give me guilt.
[It changes to Martha.]
Eleven: Also guilt.
[It changes to Donna.]
Eleven: More guilt! Come on, there must be someone left in the universe I haven't screwed up yet!

And a fez.
River Song wears red heels.
There was a Van Gogh episode that was good and Gaiman made the TARDIS human.
I am not sorry that I quit watching.

Date: 2011-08-28 10:42 pm (UTC)Yeah, I'm not sorry that I quit either. Moffat made me somewhat rageful during the Library two-parter. I probably wouldn't still have a working computer if I'd actually watched S5. Ha.
