The Middle Men
Ah, they started last week with Jilly - showing that the people who are involved in making this all happen have qualms and doubts - and we got it coming full-flower this week, with showing the man behind PhiCorps making his own inquiries into what's going on and the soldier turning on the camp administrator because he knows that what's happening is wrong. The system might have gotten corrupted but there are people who, when they find out, do something about it instead of just following orders and letting horrific things happen. Very aptly named episode, for sure.
Immortal Sins
Oooo, flashback episode! Very intriguing.
Awwww, the Jack/Angelo stuff is really getting to me. Complex and sweet and with feelings (he compared them to the Doctor & Rose - awwwww).
"Here's one of the secrets: run!"
And then we have it juxtaposed against this very painful/honest Gwen-Jack conversation (as she kidnaps him to save her daughter).
"I came back, Angelo. I came back for you. Believe me, I have never done that before."
And it goes all tragic. Poor Jack. Killed over and over because he cared enough to go back.
Yay! Plan! Yay Gwen! Yay Esther and Rex! ♥
Oooo, Angelo is waiting for Jack? So very intriguing.
The End of the Road
Awesome. I must admit, part of my brain is going, "Kira!" because I love her to pieces, but this whole bit is really good. Even though it's pretty much exposition, I remain engaged.
And then there's John de Lancie as well!
Even with just getting to see the one-side acted out, the Jack-Angelo stuff is getting to me again.
I like Shawnie the CIA agent! And so naturally she gets shot by a member of The Family.
Seeing Jilly just finally go out on Oswald was neat. I like that she's a complex character, while not being a good person.
Still very much into the show. Glad I caught up but now I'm really aching to see the last two episodes.
