Doctor Vera Juarez is officially on Team Torchwood! Yay! I've really been adoring her throughout the episodes, so having her become a part of the team is fantastic.

Gwen's mom is on top of things, I see. Runs in the family.

As a character, Gwen really couldn't not have gone back to Wales after the news she got, but I'm still sad that she and Jack aren't on the same continent anymore.

"They go in but no one ever comes out" - Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory reference? (or CatCF if it's in the book, too)

Heh, I love how straight-forward Gwen's mind works. Stupid red tape getting in the way? Break in!

Jack and Esther's conversation was cute.

Oh, this Torchwood confab is great; we got confirmation that Rex is healing. Very useful information on the miracles that I was wondering about.

Aw, Esther is apologizing for thinking of useful ideas. That girl needs a hug. And a crush on someone not-Rex.

lol, Jack.

"You're unique. You're Category Jack. So don't go getting in trouble." Hee! ♥

Brad "Cheeks" Bell appearing as medical aide/triage person at 21 minutes into the episode. He did a good job. Yay for Brad!

Ahhh, eeep. Vera getting shot was just very painful to watch. Shot twice! I hope Ralph takes his horror and does something useful with it. (and that camp director - ugh. What a horrible human being. Sexist, racist, given to violent impulses, and a murderer)

Ah, Jack is still trying to appeal to Oswald Danes. But he did say it was the guy's only chance. Wonder if he's going to stick to that after this and give up on him.

Jilly will continue to get noticed by "the right people", I think.

Living cremation. I was worrying/wondering that it was that (hoping that it was not). Fuck. So utterly horrifying. Vera, damn it. Torchwood is never good for the life expectancy. They do keep managing to make the horror go deeper and deeper.

The thing I'm trying to figure out is exactly what the living cremation means for the people it happens to. Will they still be alive as ashes? I feel like it's implied that there's still some level of consciousness with those whose bodies have been destroyed (blown up guy, lady in the crushed car) and Rex talked about how he felt his entire accident, even when his heart didn't work anymore. So are the cremated people still aware at some level? All I know is that it's really really disturbing. O.O
