This Troy dude who is killing the competition is making me curious about the show that he's from. Plus, he's cute. How many seasons does this Community show have? (though I wouldn't be able to give it a watch for another three weeks/my quarter is over anyway)

Almost two full seasons!! The first few eps were kind of rocky but omg it is one of the best comedies--one of the best ensemble shows that I have seen in a longggg time.

Yeah I started watching Community about a week ago after being told I should since it first premiered (I cave eventually but I do it in my own time, okay) aaaaand I watched the entire first season--all 25 episodes--in about four days. It's hysterical. Towards the end of the first season, they started doing a lot of spoofs, partly due to Abed and all his pop culture references but also just for the sake of the fact they could like, do an apocalypse movie spoof involving a paintball tournament, because why wouldn't you.

Anyway, watch it. You don't REALLY have to watch it in order but the episodes do follow the actual structure of school semesters, so it's nice to follow the chronology for that. I did start with some recent s2 episodes before I gave up and got the first season.

also they seriously do a SHIT TON OF META about the actors which is soooooo great if you catch it omggggg i love them so muchhhhhhhhh

Community is a meta parody show masquerading as a mainstream comedy with a diverse cast and written by full on geeks. Run, don't walk! Only about a season and a half so far and the episodes are only a half hour, so it's like popcorn. :)
