Vampire Diaries: Promo for 2x15

THAT LOOKS KINDA AWESOME, PEOPLE.

Points:

a. Are Stefan and Elena going to high-tail it back to Mystic Falls to save their loved ones?

b. Stefan is totally telling Elena about his bloody past because she's about to read it anyway in the journals, isn't he? He's so Stefan.

c. Speaking of: FLASHBACKS! I love the flashbacks on this show. Also, Stefan is so going to rack up a (past) body count. And he totally went on a blood vendetta against the Gilberts. Awesome.

d. Damon and Katherine snarking at each other!

e. Before, Damon was just pretty sure that he wanted to kill Elijah, just out of general security reasons. Now, he knows that Elena's deal involves her dying. He has more motivation now (though it probably still won't work. Yet. Give him time).

This week was good, but next week looks like it has the potential to be AWESOME. And maybe Stefan/Elena will be hilarious again. YOU NEVER KNOW (I do think "Crying Wolf" is officially my favorite episode with regards to the S/E relationship, tho. How hilarious was it when Elena was remembering that Stefan is, in fact, a vampire?).

It makes me giggle that Katherine is trying to appeal to Damon's 'better nature.' Yeah, and that was after she did her level best to scour that out of him. GOOD JOB THERE, MISSY, NOW YOU REAP THE BENEFITS.

Ha, yes! She's all... 'but you should feel bad for me? I'll be stuck!' And he's all... 'lol, w/e'. Couldn't happen to a nicer vamp.

Oh yes, Stefan definitely wants to get HIS version out there - and bloody vendetta - makes SENSE, Stefan, given what happened to you guys back in the day.

He doesn't want Elena hearing the biased Gilbert version! She needs to hear the biased Stefan version.

I suspect that I'm going to find it all tremendously exciting. The preview makes the flashbacks look like they're going to be very awesome.

Yeah, Katherine is still so SURPRISED that Damon isn't falling over himself for her. At first he wanted her to say that things could be like they were, but that foundation had been crumbling and she is the one that dealt it the final blow.

*shakes head* If she had shown the slightest interest in him during the last century and a half it would be a different story and he'd have burned down the town for her already.

Stefan's bias is SO very obvious.

I love the flashbacks. *bounces* And I love getting more information on the town and what a MESS it all turned out to be when they went after the vampires.

poor poor Katherine and her LACK OF CONTEXT. She wasn't there for S1 and she maybe still thinks that Damon's emotional breakdown with her in 2x1 was about her -- and it completely wasn't. Throwing himself at her and his desperate request to make things like they were was about running away from his ~feelings.

And so every scene after that she treats him like he's really still pining after her and tortured that she doesn't love him. And sure, he's still fucked up because of her, but it's been a long time since Katherine!emotions have been his primary driver.

I kind of love it, because Katherine is so bad ass and smarter-than-you that it's nice to see her off her game every once and awhile.

It's HYSTERICAL because she doesn't GET it - and she thinks that he SHOULD want to do what she wants, and he doesn't. Plus, he and Stefan are GETTING ALONG without any help from her or anything, and this is all strange to her - she must have heard stories of them being on the outs.

I have this total desire for indulgent fic where we have Katherine outsider POV where she's forced to help them in their plotting and she watches the team do their thing and her mind boggles at current!Damon and Damon/Stefan and Damon/Alaric.
