butterflySo, Damon likes to watch the girls run before he kills them. That's my current theory. That or tents and cars count as things that these vampires can't enter without permission. That would be interesting.

Wow, check out that sizzling tension that was maintained throughout the Damon/Elena/Stefan scene. Nicely done, there.
The Damon-Stefan push-pull in their scenes together is really effective. The actors play off each other well, I think.
Poor Caroline! I think she survives (I'll find out in a few minutes when I watch the next episode) but, damn, that sucks for her.
What a traumatising morning after for Caroline! Eeep.

Ah. That would be a cross-fandom pun, wouldn't it?
I can tell none of these boys apart when they're in football gear.
I'm really loving this Elena/Damon kitchen scene. He's a very appealing character (obviously would not want to know the bloodthirsty vampire in real life but he's a great character) and... okay, he's got weird motives, I'm sure, but I do agree with him that if cheerleading is going to make Elena miserable, she doesn't need to do it in order to be 'better'. She went through something huge and you can't always go back after something like that.
That Vicki-Tyler-Jeremy situation is really heating up.
Elena and Damon have another knock-out scene together. Nice slap! She's really good at figuring him out, actually - both the good (noting that he lost/missed/cared about Katherine, too) and the bad (trying to use her to get to Stefan).
Ah, and the necklace is what made her able to not get caught up in Damon's vampire magnetism. Good looking out, Stefan (in all cases, I do generally think honesty is good but I think it's... a lot harder when the honesty involves confessions of being a member of the undead and am willing to cut some slack. But then when people keep dying... that slack does get shorter).
